Bill C-268 can make a difference.

What we count and what we measure signifies what we value. When all we count is money, talk about the environment and social cohesion does not produce action.

The "Canada Well-Being Measurement Act", Bill C-268, would establish social and environmental measurers to be reported along with the measure of economic growth - GDP. The expanded system would give decision makers more information to work with and would reveal how decisions affect the environment and society.

We are looking for input about what will best reflect our state of well-being and we need help lobbying MPs.
