ott.community.lets

Local Employment Trading System exchanges are local non-profit
trading networks used by members to exchange goods and services based on
alternate currencies. For more information, see the FAQ at:

Other information about LETS systems in Ottawa can be found at 
<URL:http://www.ncf.carleton.ca/multilets/>.

ott.community.lets is a forum for discussion about the various LETS
trading systems in the Hull-Ottawa region. Discussion about the rules and
policies for trading and for general LETS discussion is welcome from
both members and non-members.

Topics that do not concern local LETS exchanges should be posted to other
newsgroups. In particular, postings about Canadian politics belong over in
can.politics. Actual trading should occur elsewhere according to the
customs of each particular LETS.

Crossposting will be tolerated only when it is appropriate to both this
group *and* the others to which it is crossposted. 

Crossposting is discouraged.   Retromoderation is an option that may be 
employed if ONAG deems that excessive cross-posting or other anti-social 
behaviour is occuring in the group.
