The Sunday shift through the summer months was an experiment in providing shop time for volunteers without do-it-yourselfers or sales taking up the Head Mechanic's time. But for the most part not as many volunteers turned out as we would've hoped. Consequently we did not get that many bikes built, and the basement continues to overflow with unready bikes...
So as of Nov. 1st the focus will change. Mark (who runs these shifts) will be concentrating on getting as many As Is bikes as possible ready for the annual Spring Rush, and will not have time for detailed bike repair instructions. So if any volunteers wish to come in and help out with these bikes or with overhauls they'll need to have enough repair skills to work with minimal supervision.
