Person: ___________ Berghaus
Sex: male
I would like to add to your information if I may ,the first thing is that Johannes Berghaus father arived at the Hartenau farms with his in -laws
the Seip family and son Michael Berghaus. This was 1708 just outside of Hahnlein it is a word in german meaning a man without land or
animals,so could not be called a farmer. His father in law was the forman at the farm which tells us that his wife was a Seip but first name
n/n.Hartenau is 1 kilometer west of Bickenbach and belong to the district of Kirschspiel, then moved to Hahnlein he was in this place from
1712 to 1721 he was called a bisasse which means not a full fledged citizen. They had three more children Maria Caterina b.1712
Apr.1,Johann Nikolaus b.12feb.1716,and Anna Magdalena b.7/june/1721 then they moved to Alsbach were they were confrimed between
1726 & 1734 . The recorder of these records has no record of the marriage of Nikolaus and Gertrude n/n he thinks it may have taken place in
one of the near by villiages. These documents are with me if you or anyone would like a copy they are from the Evangeliache church and
written by Rudolf Kuntz.I have had these varified and have my Coat of Arms registered in Berlin by the same gentleman that blazoned the
arms for President Dwight Eisenhauer of U.S.A.
