captured at the French surrender. No date of death.

Arrived with wife in 1750 on the Ann. Was found at Louisbourg along with wife and child after French surrendered to the British, and were embarked 21st of Aug. 1758 on board the Sloop for Lunenburg and arriving there 9th Sept. 1758 and where mustered 17th of Sept. The family had converted to catholicism while there. (We can pretty safely assume they converted back when they were taken to Lunenburg.)

Chris Fretwell has him listed as Jacob Andrew Colb, listed elswhere as Jacob Andreas KOLB. One source lists his birthdate as "around 1725", but since that's what's listed for his wife perhaps there was a mix-up.
