Catherine Barbara Schmidt was the daughter of Johann Michael Schmidt and
Mara Barbara Englehorn and was b. 1740. She married Peter Zwicker, they
had 11 children, and she died in 1780. Peter Zwicker m2. Anna Gertrude
Ernst in 1781, and they had 7 children.

From Schmidt's diary:
1740: The 13th of April another little daughter was born to me, in the sign of the Scorpion, and was brought to holy baptism
the 14th of that month, sponsored by the wife of the magistrate of Bruchhausen, who gave her the Christian name Catharina
Barbara.

She passed away again however, to my great sorrow, here on the 27th of November 1780, having reached the age of 40
years, 7 months and 14 days; just as there was the great eclipse here.
