In 1993 I graduated from Electrical Engineering and my fourth year thesis used the Global Positioning System to create a talking map for the visually Impaired.
I am the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Sendero Group LLC
My work for Sendero currently consists of creating a portable accessible GPS solution to run on handheld devices.
I recently resigned from Benetech a non-profit company where I have been the Senior Software Engineer working on a number of projects over the past 7 years, including Martus, E-Adaptive Managementan an environmental planning project, and Bookshare.org an on-line book repository for digital books accessible by those who have print and reading disabilities. Here is the pictures of my last day at Benetech.
