TEACH, Homeschoolers of the Avalon. Teaching, Equipping, and Affirming Children at Home (TEACH) is a member-based support group with a six member board of directors. "Most of the members of TEACH are Christian and approach homeschooling from a Christian perspective but we welcome and wish to support all homeschoolers in the Avalon area. The purpose of TEACH is: 1. to provide support, encouragement, and fellowship to families who are home educating in the Avalon region; 2. To provide resources and activities for home-schooled children and their parents in the Avalon region; 3. To provide information about home education to our members and the public at large."
