This page is for listing events organized by, for, or of possible interest to home based learning families in B.C. This could include Not-Back-To-School gatherings, support group Open House events, presentations, lectures and seminars, or any other such events.

We'd also like to list any websites or email lists that announce local field trips, outings and other activites for homeschooling families.

Homelearners.ca is a website with forums and a calendar for posting events, classified ads, links and information. You can view everything without being registered, but you need to register to be able to post.

Home Learners South of the Fraser, a support group with members from Surrey, White Rock, North Delta and Langley, has developed a web site that along with meeting and event information also has a useful page of links for the whole family. www.members.shaw.ca/homelearners-sf

The Nanaimo Community Home Learners web site has their upcoming events, articles, snap shots and support group information. Informative for those in and around Nanaimo considering homeschooling or looking for new friends and inspiring for the rest of us! Check them out at nchl.bc.ca

The New Life Home School Association of Burnaby has news, an event calendar and dates for support meeting on their web site which can be found at members.shaw.ca/newlifehs/

The Greater Vancouver Home Learning Information Centre can be found at www.homelearning.informationcentre.ca. If you are looking for home learning activites, events, casual get togethers, tutors or free guinea pigs in the greater Vancouver region, this is the site to go to!
