Home schoolers have found the school to be a viable support for their home program. This coming 1997-98 school year, Academy On Line will be offering a primary program (K - 3) for parents and students.

LearnNet Kirkness School located in Edmonton, Alberta is offering a 'Virtual Classroom' for grades 3 - 6. LearnNet is a school-based home learning alternative where students perform the majority of their work at home, but are linked to their teacher, their fellow students and school resources through telecommunications.
