comnet-www: [Gov-list] The end of Red Hat support (fwd)

This is part of the question I asked in the previous letter. What are
other people doing? Are they moving to RedHat Fedora or another
distribution?

I am also wondering what people think of Suse? I believe they have some
non-FLOSS applications on their $free download distribution such as their
installer? What changes, if any, are seen with the Novell purchase of
Suse?

Subject: [Gov-list] The end of Red Hat support

I have to admit feeling a little let down when I received a letter from
Red Hat disclosing that they had discontinued support agreements.

I have two entitlements. I had three and one expires 5 months after they
discontinue their service.

I wrote a short critique at

http://governmentforge.org/archives/000315.html

but for those who don't want to read my rambling, here's the Red Hat
newsletter.
