Erik is otherwise occupied for a while, so I'd like to start a thread that
I would otherwise ask him to start.

Scott Bradner has put together a proposed set of bylaws for a Protocol
Support Organization, intended to be consistent with the ICANN proposal.
When whatever happens with IANA happens, we (the IETF) need to be ready to
step up to our role, with an agreed set of bylaws. I have great confidence
that Scott made every effort to make his initial proposal perfection
itself; I have equal confidence that he missed some points, worded some
things inappropriately, and got some things just flat wrong. I would like
for the discussion to focus on getting it right, please :^)

So do me a favor. Read draft-iesg-bradner-pso-bl-00.txt. Comment profusely,
quoting the text you don't like or suggesting placement of text that you
feel was completely omitted, and provide in your comments both substitute
text (that he can cut and paste), and a rationale for its adoption.

Thanks much.
