  As mentioned, one of the problems of auto-moderation is that (For both 
social and technical reasons) it does not allow cross-posting, or 
carbon-copies of messages to be sent to the group.  One group where 
auto-moderation would not work is the flora.general group which is the 
definitive (and soon only...) place where crossposting can be done.   
These medical questions are sent there as well.


  I would welcome the "where is the XXXX" group type questions in here, 
but I think there is something very odd going on when medical and other 
questions end up going in here directly.  I had thought that adding the 
'admin' word to the newsgroup would have solved this.

  This group is tiny - setting it up as auto-moderated, and myself as the 
person to handle bounces/etc isn't a problem.  I already handle bounces 
for Email users to this group.  Now, if ever anyone wanted to take over 
flora.mai-not .... that's another story ;-)
