Questions about getting started

First question is very simple. How does one get started with respect
to using the services provided by Flora?   Note, this is not a 
request for technical help.  Just need to be shown the door
(ie how do I get an account name, etc) A simple URL with this info
is fine, since I obviously missed it.  

Second question.  What is the recommended yearly
donation once Flora is hosting a community project for those I
represent?  I ask this as a (possibly unfair) comparision to 
the NC Freenet, where I'm assuming donations are not mandatory
but certainly helpful.
