My primary area of Activism is the promotion of Open Source software. I do this especially within the NGO and activist movements where the community based accountability (and opposition to the corrupt and even illegal business practices of large technology vendors) should be a no-brainer. Your message was sent to us from a Microsoft hotmail account, advertising a site hosted on a Microsoft IIS server. This suggests that we should get together and talk if you wish your site to be more accepted and be more effective. http://uptime.netcraft.com/up/graph?host=www.ottawaactivism.com The site www.ottawaactivism.com is running Microsoft-IIS/4.0 on NT4/Windows 98. Note: I consider the "Auto Free Ottawa" issue more from a "technological accountability and choice" angle, not as an environmental issue. This is why I'm involved in Auto-Free Ottawa.
