We've given you lots of formats to choose from, but an initial caution: - Printing GIF images from browsers results in poor quality. Instead, you download (save the image) and print them at 300 dpi from a graphics program or Windows word processor such as WordPerfect or MS Word. See "3 Easy Steps" below.
3 EASY STEPS TO PRINTED STICKERS!
1. Click on the desired format above, then save the file to a directory
of your choice.
You'll get an "out of memory" error if your
computer's RAM is small; disregard but save to a floppy disk and print
from another computer with more RAM. Note that the GIF images will appear
much larger than they print depending on your screen resolution.
2. Then print a master on your black and white printer (using graphics
program or word processor). Or find a friend with a colour printer.
You can take it on diskette to a nearby computer or copy
shop to print if you don't have access to a colour printer. This is worthwhile
only if you want more than a couple-dozen stickers, because you will be
charged about $10 for the first page.
3. Copy your master as much as you like in a copy shop, using Avery
label stock available in office-supply stores.
This is faster and cheaper than computer printers, which
may take several minutes per page, and use up lots of ink or toner. The
full-page 3-up bumper stickers, 20-up long stickers and 9-up circular stickers
above will give you the most cost-effective colour copying. At $1.25 a
page, this is only 50c per 10" bumper sticker, or 15c per 3"
round one. These full-page images require about 12 MB of RAM and a graphics
program to print. If you do it yourself, use full-page Avery label stock
(about $20 per 100 sheets).
