MAI draft
text (plain formatting), 14 Feb 1998, is almost identical to the
24 April draft, loads quickly and can be copied -- unlike the OECD links
which need Acrobat Reader, a subtle form of "information management"!
The October MAI draft text released
by the OECD, scanned and formatted by volunteers on behalf of the National
Centre for Sustainability, and mirrored here on our website.

draft text of the MAI courtesy Multinational Monitor.

New Democratic Party is the only party
in power opposing the MAI, but you'd never know it from their website!
Here too is NDP supporter Edna
Toth's anti-MAI website. Her link to the NDP's
anti-MAI page doesn't work; it is has been moved to the website of
the NDP Caucus.
Polaris Institute. A collection
of high-quality (somewhat dated but still relevant) articles on the MAI
such as Tony Clarke's MAI-DAY article and information on the NAFTA-based
Ethyl Corp case. Tony works closely with Maude and the national anti-MAI
roundtable.
Geneva-based NGO Centre
Europe - Tiers monde (CETIM) has published a new book in French, Accord

un autre!. It alerts readers to MAI rules in the New Transatlantic
Marketplace (NTM) and plans afoot to move the MAI to the IMF or the WTO
(their site has contact info only).
