Please Forward Widely INVITATION For Participation in the International Solidarity Day with Nablus As you all know, Nablus is suffering from continuous aggression which affects all social sectors, and is subjected to continuous siege, humiliating treatment at the checkpoints, gratuitous killing of civilians, the demolishing of homes, curfews, and the attempt to impose total control over the movements of our people. We invite you all to participate in the international solidarity day with Nablus, organized by the people of Nablus in conjunction with activists from the International Solidarity Movement (ISM). The assembly will converge at the demolished Muqata at 9h30 am, on Monday 26/7/2004. A group of internationals and Palestinians will march to Huwara checkpoint at 10h30 am. At the same time another group of internationals, Israelis and Palestinians will converge at the other end of the Huwara checkpoint - in Huwara village - to express our refusal of the policy of siege, humiliation and abuse of the international community through the behavior of the Israeli military and to express our rejection of the military wall that surrounds the city. Let the world hear our voices! We must stop the suffering of the Palestinian people in all segments of our society. Let the 26th be a special day for international solidarity with the people of Nablus and a means of expressing our refusal of the occupation in all its forms. NOTE: We hope that organizations, social centers, popular movements, workers and students will participate with their popular bases and banners. Palestine solidarity activists living abroad are encouraged to organize solidarity rallies in their communities on this day.
