212 PSORIASIS I was told by a dermatologist that I had Psoriasis. So I have been doing some reasearch ( Seeing that is what I do for a living. ) and all of the pictures that I have been seeing of psoriasis do not look like what I have. Mine is a reddish ciurcular patch ( without scaling ) on my legs. The center of it is normal looking. This rash is very irritated and it produces a lot of puss. It starts out being just a small red dot then progresses from there. I first noticed it after a hiking trip in which I was submersed in swamp water for a lot of the trip. At first I thought it was ringworm but none of the antifungal treatments worked. This rash does not respond well to cortisone or anything else I have tried. Have you any suggestions for me to try? ANSWER BY NANCY APPLETON, PHD My research shows that psoriasis is a toxic liver due to past indiscrections. A good detox found from a health store and removal of abusive junk foods is a start. Foods to which you react also can be a problem. Read LICK THE SUGAR HABIT more information.
