955 ALLERGIES
Complained to the doctor that my asthma was getting worse. She said I am
allergic to cats. I then complained about having a stuffed up nose. She
said allergies again.
When I started to wake up with red eyes with discharge, I went to see a
different doctor who said, "you are allergic to cats."
I finally got the message and got rid of my precious cat. I have changed
my bedding, but am still with stuffed nose and red eyes, especially in
the
morning. How long will it take before I feel healthy again?
One more point. I do not have a feather pillow and I am not allergic to
feathers anyway, so that is not why I I can't breath properly at night.

ANSWER BY NANCY APPLETON, PHD

My research and clinical practice shows that I any person who has
inhalent allergies has food allergies even if they do not believe it.
Once you find out the foods that are bothering you, and remove them the
immune system gets healthy enough to deal with the inhallent allergies.
For one week remove sugar, caffeine, alcohol, wheat and milk from your
diet. If that does not work then you need to look further into what
you are eating that can cause your allergies. Let us know after a
week.
