RSCDS: www.scottishdance.org and www.rscds.org: Headquartered in Edinburgh, Scotland, the Royal Scottish Dance Society is the governing body for Scottish Country Dancing throughout the world. The Society maintains standards, certifies teachers, publishes dance descriptions, music and videos, and holds an annual summer school at St. Andrews in Scotland. The Society maintains two web pages, one for members and one for the general public.
The Strathspey Electronic Discussion List: The Strathspey site contains a wealth of information on Scottish Country Dancing, while its discussion list promotes a free exchange of ideas on all aspects of SCD. Long maintained by Anselm Lingau, Strathspey is based in Germany, but readership is worldwide.
Intercity Scot: The foremost list of Canadian and American SCD classes, events, contacts, and web pages. Meticulously updated by Tim Harrison of Austin, Texas.
Scottish Dance Groups in North America: Contains links to the web sites of many dance groups in North America, both Highland and Scottish Country.
